Canada is a country that adopts federal system, constitutional monarchy, and parliamentary system. It comprises ten provinces and three regions. The political system of Canada is a parliamentary system under constitutional monarchy and implements separation of powers. The legislative power, judicial power, and administrative power originate from the Canadian monarchy. The current monarch is Queen Elizabeth II.
